Actor Joe Manganiello has been married to actress Sofia Vergara for several years. The actress recently
celebrated her birthday in Italy, and while there, her fans noted that she was missing a key accessory.

When Vergara visited Manganiello in Hoboken, New Jersey, while he was filming his most recent movie, ‘Nonnas,’ starring Vince Vaughn, they were last seen together.
Vergara, a judge on the popular NBC show ‘America’s Got Talent,’ recently spent time in Italy celebrating her birthday with friends while her husband was conspicuously absent.
When the actress shared a photo with the comment, ‘When life gives u lemons u come to Italy to squeeze them,’ fans became even more skeptical about his absence.
Manganiello celebrated his wife’s birthday by saying ‘!!Feliz Cumpleaos Sofa!!!’ alongside a photo of the
two of them on Instagram. The ‘cold’ wish was not well received by the audience, who felt something was amiss.
In November 2015, the pair exchanged vows in a grand ceremony in Palm Beach. They invited 400 guests, including Manganiello’s ‘True Blood’ co-stars
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer as well as Vergara’s ‘Modern Family’ co-stars Ariel Winter, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland, and Ty Burrell.
Reese Witherspoon and Channing Tatum, two Hollywood A-listers, were also present.
In 2014, when Vergara was engaged to investor Nick Loeb, she met Manganiello at a White House Correspondent Association dinner.
Vergara is the mother of Manolo, age 31, from her previous marriage to Joe Gonzalez.
After learning she had broken up with Loeb a few weeks later, Manganiello requested her phone number.
He mentioned Vergara in an interview as coming in 2020. “She rapidly realized she could trust me, and I quickly realized I could trust her.
Additionally, both of us are capable of putting the needs of others above our own. ‘I was capable of putting
her wishes—whatever they were—ahead of mine, and she was capable of doing the same,’ he continued. You hold onto that once you get it.
But as of late, the pair has made a very upsetting announcement: they are separating. We have decided to divorce,
which was a difficult decision for the pair to make. We respectfully request that our privacy be respected
at this time as we traverse this new stage of our lives as two people who sincerely love and care for one another.
According to a source close to the couple, ‘Sofia and Joe have been drifting apart for a while and are taking some time apart to think about their future.’
Another source continued, ‘Those close to Sofia were trying to justify Joe’s absence by saying he was filming back on the East Coast;
that excuse barely held up due to the writers strike, but once the actor’s strike took effect, he could have been on the first flight… and he quite clearly is not.
