The Oklahoma State University student knew what she wanted for Christmas. Holly Fuqua really wanted a dog.

When she told her mom and dad about it, they said she would only get a dog after she graduated from college.Holly had no idea that her parents had already prepared a Christmas surprise for her.

In her free time, Holly helped the Humane Society as a volunteer.There she became attached to a dog

named Rambo. It didn’t take long before the girl and the dog became friends, according to the Miami Herald.

As Holly and Rambo’s friendship deepened, she began posting photos and videos of the dog, which she also showed to her mom and dad.

Holly’s mother realized that Rambo needed to be taken home earlier than they had planned.

Holly’s parents took Rambo in without telling Holly about it. They were going to surprise her at Christmas.

The Humane Society promised not to reveal the surprise and didn’t tell Holly anything. When she found out that

someone had taken Rambo, she was very upset.The girl felt that she had lost a friend and would never see him again.

Holly’s parents gave her their Christmas present ahead of time because they saw how miserable she was. They recorded the moment of presenting their gift to her on video.

In the video, you see Rambo and Holly’s father just meters from the front door. Holly steps out the door and stops for a few seconds when she sees them.

She then cries and greets Rambo with open arms as her father releases the dog so he can run towards her.

Holly cries uncontrollably and asks through her tears if Rambo belongs to her. When she hears the answer, she cries even harder already with joy.

Holly is the best thing that could happen to Rambo. She gave him a lot of love and a good home.

At the same time, thousands of dogs will remain in shelters forever and be euthanized. Rambo is really lucky.
