After hearing his two young children perform on ‘Britain’s Got Talent,’ a father gives an emotional audition…

A viewer of Britain’s Got Talent presented an impromptu audition that wowed the audience after his mother secretly entered him into the competition.

Nick Edwards mistook attending Britain’s Got Talent with his wife and without the kids since his sister-in-law had given them free tickets.

Site manager Nick was surprised to see Callie, age 4, and Savannah, age 3, sitting with their grandmother Tracey.

It turns out that his mother had secretly signed him up for the contest because she was convinced he wouldn’t do so.

Are you serious, I ask? When Nick’s family appeared on stage, he shouted, ‘That’s my mother, you’ve got to be kidding.’

Nick took about 45 minutes to warm up before going on stage in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams.

The producers gave me my guitar, which my family had brought down that day, and instructed me to sing the song they had heard on my Instagram, Nick recounted.

The 35-year-old father said to the judges that he had given up performing in front of people because he had ‘lost a lot of confidence’ in himself over the years.

‘Hopefully I’ll be able to hold the nerves and weeping at bay while I do this,’ a nervous Nick stated.

The song ‘Daddy’s Little Girl” by Ernie Halter was then sung by Nick to his daughters. He performed the song so flawlessly that the judges were ‘in bits.’

Declan Donnelly, the host and father of a three-year-old girl, was overtaken with emotion after the performance.

Declan scowled and brushed away his tears before sarcastically stating, ‘I’m fine!’ to the camera.

As I was playing and my fingers started to feel a little rubbery, I recalled thinking, ‘This is going to be a big time for you.’I don’t want to sabotage it.

Even though it was a great moment, because Nick was wearing a microphone, many spectators questioned whether his entrance onto the stage was legal.
