Hollywood isn’t exactly known for having happy marriages. Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are one pair who has remained together through all the breakups.

The actors initially met while working together on the PBS adaptation of Lanford Wilson’s play ‘Lemon Sky,’ and they instantly fell in love.

Since that time, they haven’t looked back. The pair frequently brags about one another to the media and is the proud parents

of Travis Sedgwick and Sosie Ruth. On September 4, the couple posted some adorable flashback photos to Instagram to commemorate their 35 years of marriage.

Bacon and Sedgwick sent sentimental messages on their separate Instagram profiles with vintage images in honor of their 35th wedding anniversary.

The pictures showed them in the beginning of their relationship, youthful and in love, all set to go on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation together.

35 years feels like a heartbeat, Bacon wrote in the caption of his picture. #Anniversary.’ In the image he posted,

the couple is seen snuggled up in a chair, with Sedgwick beaming at the camera as Bacon kisses her on the forehead.

Sedgwick was not far behind and posted a picture of the couple from the year they first met on her account.

It is a straightforward image of the gorgeous couple giving the photographer a serious gaze. She wrote in the post’s description, ‘I met a man named Kevin

in 1987 while working on the set of ‘Lemon Sky. I’m 35 today, my love. The couple has never been reluctant to flaunt their affection.

In an interview with PEOPLE in March of this year, the pair discussed their courtship as well as their first encounter.

Bacon admitted that when he first saw Sedgwick, he was ‘knocked out’ in its entirety. Sedgwick disagreed with Bacon’s

assessment that she was ‘amazing,’ She recalled, ‘I remember thinking, ‘Oh, he thinks he’s cool.’’’But once they went on a date,

she drastically changed her mind and felt he was the ‘one.’ ‘I remember waking up and going, ‘I feel like home,’’

she said to the publication. From there, their relationship only deepened, and they quickly made the decision to get married.

Sedgwick and Bacon were married in the same year. Their conviction that they shared a ‘special connection’ has proven to be accurate as

they have endured time and Hollywood stardom. Congratulations were left for the couple in the posts’ comment sections.
