‘I have no idea how she came to be, and I take no credit for her other than adoration.’ And perhaps that is a valid contribution.’

Her love affair with John continued despite Preston’s marriage, and the two began spending more time together.

They got married in 1991 and have three kids: Benjamin Travolta, Ella Bleu, and Jett Travolta. The couple experienced

tragedy when their son Jett lost tragically at the age of 16 in 2009 as a consequence of an unplanned seizure and subsequent fall.

The performers were horrified by Jett’s passing, and Travolta later referred to it as ‘the worst thing that’s ever happened in my life.’

John and his wife were relieved when Benjamin was born shortly after the tragedy because they were able to

go through it as a family. But tragedy struck once more when Preston was found to have breast cancer.

In July 2020, the actress lost her fight with cancer and passed away. While the rest of the world was ignorant

of her cancer diagnosis, John broke the awful news to them. Travolta wrote on Instagram as follows:

‘I must tell you with a sorrowful heart that my lovely wife Kelly lost her two-year struggle with breast cancer. She bravely battled with so many others who loved and supported her.

The actor expressed his gratitude to the doctors who treated his wife up until her final moments as well as to his friends and family for their

support during this difficult time. Additionally, he declared that he would withdraw from public view for a while to be there for his children as they grieved the loss of their mother.

Since Preston’s passing, John and his children have made great strides. Although John took a break from

posting on social media after the tragedy, he occasionally updates his Instagram followers with photos of his family.

Ella has a sizable Instagram following and frequently uploads pictures of her brother and father.

On September 5, 2023, the day before John and Preston’s 32nd wedding anniversary, John shared a video of his daughter wearing a flowery maxi dress with pockets and stiletto heels.
