19-year-old At a young age, Coco Gauff won the U.S. Open, establishing herself as a tennis star. Serena Williams,
who also achieved this feat in 2001 at the age of 19, was the most recent person to do so.
Aryna Sabalenka was defeated by Gauff by a score of 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. Gauff has seemingly appeared out of thin air,
which has propelled her to international recognition as a result of her victory. The 19-year-old has only been in two finals and this was her maiden Grand Slam.

Her response to winning the competition went viral. However, one particular thing she did after realizing she had won has drawn a lot of criticism from internet users.
She was spotted kneeling down and clasping her hands in prayer. The video was posted on ESPN’s X (formerly known as Twitter),
along with the text, ‘@CocoGauff took a moment to soak it all in after winning her first Grand Slam title.’
Tony Dungy, the head coach of the Super Bowl victorious team, did not like what ESPN had to say about Gauff’s celebration.
‘I hate to break it to you, SportsCenter, but Coco Gauff was not’soaking it all in’ at this moment,’ he wrote in response to their tweet.
As she prayed. She has previously been extremely transparent about her Christian religion. What she is doing in this place seems very clear.

On Facebook, T.J. Moe, a user with a verified account, left an identical comment on Fox News’s page.
‘ESPN tried to say she was soaking it all in,’ he wrote. No, that’s prayer, and it’s wonderful to see a young athlete recognize its source.
Others, though, did not think much of the remark. The suggestion that praying is what affects outcomes was
unpopular with the public. Someone questioned whether the other team’s defeat was the result of insufficient prayer on their part.
Another angry user questioned whether God was more interested in sports as a result of the earthquake that damaged hundreds of people in Morocco.

However, Coco Gauff is already adept at tuning out ‘haters.’ She expressed her pride in her hard-earned success.
She attributed her perseverance to her faith and her parents. She reflected on her defeat at the French Open and said it was just one of life’s ups and downs.
She also had a message for those who did not support her and wished for her defeat. She remarked, ‘Honestly,
to those who thought you were putting water on my fire, you were really adding gas to it — and now I’m really burning so bright right now.’
Both those who praised her and those who attempted to undermine her win were present. The tennis pro received a lot of
encouragement from those who were pleased with her victory. Even how a second Serena Williams was discovered was implied by one commenter.
