One of the most enduring American television shows is The Carol Burnett Show. People have been laughing at the show for years.

It’s unlikely that another show will ever match the wacky, surprising skits and renowned, comically

talented cast of this one. Laughter was never in short supply or hard to come by on The Carol Burnett Show.

Tim Conway was one of the cast members that regularly brought the house and studio audiences to their feet in laughter.

Tim frequently left his fellow castmates in stitches with his hilarious timing and endearing characters.

A YouTube clip demonstrates the several occasions when Tim portrayed animal characters on the program.

Carol introduces Tim at the start of the video and explains his surprisingly high frequency of portraying members of the animal kingdom.

After just a few seconds, Tim has the studio audience in fits of laughter. Tim’s facial expressions while portraying a cow being milked for the first time are sufficient to elicit laughter.

Tim then adopts the demeanor of a cat. Harvey Korman, who co-stars with Tim in the sketch, just makes it a

few lines before having to suppress laughter. Harvey is amused when Tim’s cat figure eventually steals a hanging watch.

Tim then takes the witness stand in a courtroom while dressed in a way that makes Bugs Buggy look like Tim Burton.

The lawyer who is questioning him in court is thoroughly irritated by his antics, but the studio audience is once more in stitches.

Tim continues to tear Harvey apart as a dog after that. He makes no attempt to hide it this time because doing so would have been completely worthless.

It’s incredible that anyone could go through a complete sketch starring Tim Conway without giggling uncontrollably and losing their ability to remain in character.

He was so extraordinarily good that frequently Tim would only need to give him a glance to incite wild and uncontrollable laughter.
