In a video uploaded to YouTube, a dog is shown acting erratically and clearly frightened. The dog, Buddy, had previously been abandoned and left on his own, as the video makes clear.

Additionally, viewers are informed that Buddy’s rescuer needed two months to find and acquire the stray dog.

It was understandable that Buddy struggled with trust. However, Buddy changed into a totally different dog as soon as he met his new father, his new owner.

Buddy barks repeatedly as he approaches the man who is seated on the curb. Buddy attempts to escape even when his new dad is in charge of the leash because he is wary of him.

The animal does, however, catch a whiff of his new father’s hand. Buddy then gently approaches and allows

the new person to touch him. This cat was obviously tired of being hurt and just needed some sympathy.

Buddy eventually collapsed on the ground, rolled over, and consented to have his father rub his belly.

The dog, which was terrified and barking loudly only moments earlier, now seemed to have gained the trust of the guy.

Buddy had a remarkable makeover, and a witness nearby said that it ‘was one of the most beautiful things’ he’d ever seen.

It is truly a beautiful moment when an animal learns to trust again after facing its past sorrow and fear.
