Only in America would a man try to enter a baseball stadium with his emotional support alligator.
Joie Henney and WallyGator, his emotional support animal, were detained at Citizens Bank Park’s entry on Wednesday because the gator did not adhere to the stadium’s support animal rules.
Similar to a human and their emotional support animal, Henney and Wally get along well.
When Wally, a 14-month-old alligator, was adopted by the Pennsylvania guy, a reptile rescuer, from Florida, he soon realized the animal gave him a sense of calm.

Henney decided to register Wally as his emotional support animal as a result of the gator’s laid-back demeanor.
‘I detest taking medication, and my doctor wanted to prescribe me a depression medication. It was all fine when I was around Wally
when I got home, Henney told the Philadelphia Inquirer. ‘My doctor was aware of Wally and believed it to be effective, so why not?’

Wally visits hospitals, schools, and police stations in addition to supporting his owner while he fights cancer and depression.
Additionally, he is highly active on social media, proving that alligators may not be as frightening as they seem.
