Lucy Edwards, a young bride from England, recently spoke about her unique experience, in which she took a special and meaningful approach.
The girl invited not only her future husband, but also close relatives and friends to go to the altar blindfolded.

Lucy became visually disabled at the age of 17. Lucy lost her vision in her teens due to a rare genetic disease.
The video captured the meeting of the girl and her husband Ollie at the altar. It is noteworthy that everyone present in the hall,
including guests, wore black headbands, which allowed them to briefly immerse themselves in her world.
The 27-year-old bride celebrated her union with Ollie in a small wedding ceremony held in London’s Kew Gardens.

At the beginning of the video, the bride steps out of a white taxi, accompanied by her relatives and bridesmaids,
who help her get to the ceremony venue. Her faithful guide dog, Miss Molly, dressed in a white dress, walks faithfully at her side.
‘I am blind, and when I walked down the aisle, we asked guests to wear blindfolds. This is their reaction when they were in my place for a moment.’
The footage shows Miss Molly and Lucy’s father walking the bride down the aisle. Lucy’s face lights up
with happiness as she walks towards Ollie. The moment of their reunion is very touching: Ollie is overwhelmed with emotions.

The couple exchange genuine smiles as they embrace, and Ollie touches Lucy’s wedding dress, allowing him to ‘see’ it as well as Lucy.
In a touching moment, guests begin to remove their blindfolds, many of them smiling with admiration as they watch this unique spectacle.
However, Ollie decides not to remove the bandage and tears stream down his face. ‘Before Ollie took
off the blindfold, we gave him the opportunity to touch my dress and understand why I chose it.’

Lucy posted these wonderful shots on social networks, accompanied by a heartfelt message: ‘This is the moment when I walked down the altar.
Ollie and I thought it would be cool for him to wear a headband too, because when I got to the altar and my
dad handed my hand to Ollie, he was able to touch and ‘see’ my wedding dress just like I did when I first put it on.
‘It was such an important experience for both of us. We decided that it was very important for him and all
my guests to feel what it was like for me at the most important moment of my life,’ the bride continued.

This touching video received more than 300,000 likes and thousands of comments.
