Here is whose love story is worth taking as an example. Scots Archie and Martha Kirkland met in London in the early 1950s and married five years later.

The vow of the newlyweds was fulfilled. They spent the next 70 years together in sorrow and joy.

And together, in the most literal sense.The spouses assure that they have never been separated and that is the main secret of their long and strong marriage.

The Kirklands now have four children, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. And they are all proud of the exemplary union of grandparents.

Martha had an accident last year. The woman fell and was seriously injured, since then faithful Archie helps

the chosen one to move. And yet, the respectable age makes itself felt: the couple needs constant care.

The couple moved into a nursing home, and their love story impressed the staff so much that on Valentine’s Day, the staff invited musicians to entertain the centenarian in love.

‘They are a great example of enduring love and the importance of supporting each other. This couple inspires us,’ Daily Record quotes the manager of the institution as saying.

Now Archie is 93 and Martha is 91. Both claim that they are madly in love with each other, and the feelings have not faded with age.
