A couple in their 100s and 102s meet and fall in love at a nursing home…

A couple meets, immediately falls in love, and only a few months later they are legally wed in a courtroom.

It’s a well-known tale, but this time it doesn’t include a young, infatuated couple. Instead, there are two 100-year-olds.

At the Kingston Residence, a senior living community in Sylvania, Ohio, John and Phyllis Cook both reside.

Despite the fact that their flats were only one level away, they managed to meet and quickly developed a close relationship.

Truth be told, we fell in love with each other, as Phyllis, who will turn 103 this summer, said to WNWO.

‘I know you think that may be a little bit far-fetched for somebody our age, but we fell in love with each other.’

John, a 100-year-old WWII veteran, said, “Well, we were just compatible in a number of ways, found

ourselves enjoying each other’s company. Having already been married twice, they were both widows. But they spend more time together than just playing Bingo.

When asked what their favorite thing to do together was, John replied, ‘Well, I probably shouldn’t talk about that.

On the other side, Phyllis was more honest:

‘He’s not completely sexually dead, and neither am I!” Phyllis spoke with KHOU 11. However, she was also mindful

of her morals: ‘I just don’t believe in hopping in bed as a Christian unless you’re married.’

John consequently consented to make her an honorable woman, and the two of them headed to the courthouse to obtain a marriage license.

They didn’t anticipate becoming husband and wife when they left the courthouse. John told WNWO, ‘It wasn’t planned, but when we got here, they said we could marry you here.

He expressed his eagerness to wed: ‘I said, ‘Good, let’s get it over with.’’

The pair looks forward to many joyful years together. They might benefit from some excellent genes despite their advanced age because Phyllis’ mother lived to be 106.

It’s a tale that proves you can start a new relationship or a new life at any age.

Despite this, the pair recognizes the value of having one’s own space, and Phyllis says they will each continue to live in their respective apartments. Why is it necessary to rush?
