This man’s response was lightning quick, and his beloved dog seems to have no memory of ever being in any danger.
After spending the previous two weeks laboring in a field, John Alexander Palomino Bendives couldn’t have been happier to get back to his apartment in Peru.
There, his four dogs anxiously anticipated his return; nevertheless, it seemed that Mina was the most enthusiastic.
Their dogs stared from their four-story rooftop apartment while John and his girlfriend chatted outside.
As they leaned over the edge to see their parents, Mina’s eagerness got the better of her. Either impatiently
or because to losing her equilibrium, the tiny dog leaped and started to fall fast in the direction of the roadway.

John saw Mina in an instant and sprinted toward her with his arms wide spread, prepared to grab her—which he did! For him and his fiancée, this was a terrible moment, but Mina didn’t seem phased.
John said, ‘She was fine, unharmed.’ You can see in the video that Mina was content and appreciative. She continued to wag her tail with delight.
John says they’re considering erecting a mesh barrier to prevent another near-disaster and allow their dogs to enjoy the rooftop without worry.
Here is a clip of the intense moment:
