Parenting is a demanding and difficult job that demands ongoing care and attention. Parents must modify their
parenting techniques as their children mature and evolve because their needs and actions shift. Parenting can also be challenging
due to the growing constraints of modern life, including job and financial stress. Many parents find the experience to be gratifying and enjoyable despite the difficulties.

On a part of the actress Drew Barrymore’s talk show, ‘The Drew Barrymore Show,’ in which she was joined by the artist Pink,
discussed parenting, according to Pop Sugar. The discussion focused on preventing children from making the same errors that their parents did.
In reference to her own experience, Barrymore questioned Pink, ‘What can I tell myself when I’m afraid my kids will do some of the stuff I did?’
Pink’s response was on how they had overcome their challenging pasts, noting, ‘We made terrible decisions,’
but they still succeeded. She added that their kids might benefit from their experience while still gaining their own.

Pink stated that for her family, striking a balance between protecting children’s innocence and preparing them for the harsh realities of the outside world was the real problem.
‘We go to Disneyland, we eat ice cream, and we talk about our feelings,’ Pink stated. Barrymore continued by saying that despite her best attempts,
she still worried about the challenges her children might encounter. Pink expressed sympathy for Barrymore’s concern and noted that while parents frequently experience it,
she didn’t know of a foolproof solution. Pink chuckled, ‘None of us know anything about what we’re doing.
However, they both acknowledged that coming up with their own parenting plan had been a fulfilling experience.
Pink remarked on the thrill of witnessing her child enter the world unaffected by the outside world, while
Barrymore called motherhood ‘the most healing, wonderful thing’ she had ever done. I thought, ‘Oh, so that’s how we begin. We are that,’ Pink proclaimed.

Barrymore, who was well-known for having a difficult childhood, asked Pink how to deal with her worries about her children’s possible conduct,
asking, ‘What can I tell myself when I’m afraid my kids will do some of the stuff I did?’ The vocalist for ‘Trustfall’ replied,
‘That Xanax is available?’before joking, ‘I mean, we made it! Why did we do it? We made bad choices.
Pink said without being funny, ‘The kids will be OK. They will gain from our expertise while also learning from their own.
We have open chats about life, and I’m trying to strike a balance, she continued. I want you to have a carefree childhood and keep part of your innocence, on the one hand.
I am aware, though, that you must also be prepared for our society’s reality. I’m sorry to be negative, but our kids go through active shooter exercises at school.
They need to be prepared because this is the world we live in. The Grammy-winning performer paused to gather her thoughts before stating,
‘So we have fun outings like going to Disneyland, enjoying ice cream, and also communicating our emotions.’
