Contestant on ‘Golden Bachelor’ faces criticism after missing daughter’s wedding to participate on program…

The Golden Bachelor contestant who skipped her daughter’s wedding to participate on the show has drawn criticism.

Joan Vassos chose to quit the program to be with her baby when she had a difficult birth, in stark contrast to Sandra Mason’s choice to stay on the show and miss her daughter’s special day.

On Twitter, a user asked, ‘Sorry did Sandra say that she’s here on this silly television program instead of being at her daughter’s wedding?????’

The disclosure was made during a casual conversation between Mason and the Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner.

‘My daughter and I talked about this early on. ‘Mom, I’ve got my guy,’ she yelled. The 75-year-old fan favorite told Turner, ‘I want you to go get yours.

Turner, a two-time father, told Mason he was ‘flattered” she decided to spend time with him rather than attend his daughter’s ‘big event.’

Mason recommended the two FaceTime her kid instead since he couldn’t make it to the wedding. Mason praised Turner and his consideration after finding it out and congratulating the bride.

‘What a sweetheart he was. He’s very attentive and always full of these lovely surprises. This man is unique in his own way.

A viewer commented, ‘Missing your daughter’s wedding to appear on Golden Bachelor is CRAZY.

‘I swear i’m not trying to judge but why is Sandra missing her daughters wedding day for this,’

one viewer asked Mason. second union? A possible elopement? Are they really so close? I got a lot of inquiries.

There were a handful who supported her decision, albeit they weren’t as vocal as others who disagreed with Mason.

Sandra is a jerk for skipping her daughter’s wedding to participate in the inaugural golden bachelor pickleball tournament.

A viewer tweeted, ‘If anyone tries to trash talk Sandra bc of this LEAVE HER ALONE.’
