When a utility worker noticed a woman sobbing in his rearview mirror, his act of kindness began a chain reaction.

Life may be a difficult, unjust journey full with unforeseen difficulties. That’s the time when a little compassion, love, and understanding may go a long way.

Although random acts of kindness have the potential to brighten someone’s day, we may never know the

full impact of our actions. But Calvin Godette, one man, did. Someone’s entire life was changed by his small deed of compassion.

Working as a utility worker in Chesterfield, Pennsylvania, Calvin is familiar with problem-solving techniques.

Along with understanding kindness, he consistently demonstrates love, care, and consideration for other people.

A YouTube video claims that he helps people so frequently that he spends about half of his money doing it.

Calvin understands that one small deed of compassion has the power to transform a life.

Calvin said, ‘You never know.’ ‘You have the power to completely alter someone’s circumstances by helping them or by simply talking to them.’

Calvin saw Denise Walters, a woman in the car behind him, when he was in the Burger King drive-thru.

She was definitely going through a difficult time, as seen by her sadness. In an attempt to make her day a little better, Calvin chose to pay for her dinner.

Andy, Denise’s spouse of over 40 years, had recently passed away.

‘It touched my heart that someone could do something so nice for you at that exact moment when I thought nothing could make me happy again,’ Denise remarked.

So she went looking for Calvin. On the highway, she pulled over and thanked him for his thoughtful gesture.

Calvin was acknowledged before a county board after she informed Calvin’s employer about his performance.

Ever since that day, Calvin and Denise have stayed in communication. Denise was inspired by Calvin’s deed of charity as well. She now acts kindly and lovingly toward strangers at random.
