Broadway is the ultimate dream and objective for many people who want to work in the entertainment industry.
Broadway has an illustrious past filled with some of the most unforgettable shows ever created. Most people instantly think of Broadway
productions like ‘Cats,’ ‘The Lion King,’ ‘Hamilton,’ and ‘Wicked’ when they think of that street in New York City.

However, ‘Phantom of the Opera’is the one program that sticks out from the others. Meryl Davis and Charlie White,
two American figure skaters, had a fantastic routine to the soundtrack of that production during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
They put on a show that showcases incredible ability, charisma, strength, speed, and athleticism.
Meryl and Charlie captivate, executing the challenging performance with grace and effortlessness.
To the tune of well-known organ melodies from the production, the two skaters start off by spinning and twisting on the ice.

Meryl and Charlie no longer look like they are skating thus early in their routine. Rather, they are putting on a complex and well-choreographed dance performance.
Charlie picks up Meryl at the 1:10 mark and swivels her around his head, spinning and flipping her in all directions. He keeps moving across the ice-covered, slick surface while doing this.
However, their routine peaks at the 3-minute point in the video. Charlie lifts her up again, tosses Meryl over his back, and then flips her head over heels.

Then she gets to her feet and stands for a few seconds, supporting herself with the back of his right thigh. I have never, ever seen someone perform this motion before.
The audience cheers the two skaters on enthusiastically after their performance!
