Even though Matthew Perry passed away tragically more than a week ago, the entertainment industry is still in shock.
Family and friends gathered at Forest Memorial Park in Los Angeles this past weekend for the Friends star’s funeral, according to sources.
Grainy photos from the send-off instantly went viral on the internet. Perry’s co-stars from his most
well-known acting role, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Anniston, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow, were all in attendance.
It was undoubtedly a sad event in every way, but one particular aspect of Perry’s funeral is said to have caused much more suffering than before.

The cherished actor Matthew Perry, 54, who was best known for playing Chandler Bing in the popular sitcom Friends, departed this life on October 28.
Despite the fact that the actor was discovered unconscious in his Los Angeles home’s hot pool, the LAPD is still looking into what caused his death.
Throughout his life, Perry battled alcohol and drug addiction, but in his final years, he committed his time to assisting others.
As a matter of fact, he desired to be known more for his assistance to others in their struggles with addiction than for his playing or Friends role.
Matthew Perry had multiple relationships during his life, but he never got married or had kids. But his cast mates from Friends were the ones he treasured the most in their relationships.
Appropriately, they were present to say their last goodbyes to Perry this weekend at his funeral at Forest Memorial Park in Los Angeles.

‘The loss of Matthew has hurt us all so much. We were not just coworkers on the show. Their united statement from last week stated, ‘We are a family.’
‘There are so many things to say, but for now we’re going to take some time to mourn and absorb this unbelievable loss.
Our hearts and prayers are with Matty’s friends, family, and all of the people who loved him, for the time being.
The song that was selected to end Perry’s private funeral is said to have added poignancy to the already emotional event.
The last song to be performed was reportedly Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush’s version of ‘Don’t Give Up,’ which Sir Elton John allegedly claimed saved his life and assisted him in sobriety.
‘I am a man whose dreams have all deserted, I’ve changed my face, I’ve changed my name, But no one wants you when you lose,’ is one of the moving song’s lyrics.

The song concludes with the line, ‘Don’t give up, you still have us. Never quit up, for there is a place we belong someplace.
The Daily Mail reported that there was ‘not a dry eye in there.’Fans took to social media quickly to express their sadness.
One person wrote, ‘I can barely get through that song without crying anyway, but now?!’
‘For those who have read Matthew Perry’s book, his funeral reportedly concluded with Peter Gabriel’s song ‘Don’t give up,’’ said an additional person.
‘So sad,’ uttered by a third person.
‘Matthew Perry’s funeral song has a heartbreaking backstory,’ stated Hello magazine.
