Aspiring musicians, dancers, and others compete on prominent television shows such as American Idol, The Voice, and America’s Got Talent in the hopes of impressing one or two judges.
They want a shot and a chance to advance to the next round, where they can continue to wow the judges and the studio audience.
However, one singer, Huntley, a 33-year-old Virginia native, was so distinct and outstanding that all four judges on The Voice turned their chairs seconds after he began singing.

Huntley took the stage in the dark and began singing ‘She Talks to Angels’ by The Black Crowes.
‘That’s pretty,’ Gwen Stefani said immediately after the wannabe singer finished her first few phrases. That’s a lovely voice.’
The studio audience responded with a unified cheer, indicating that they agreed with Gwen’s assessment of Huntley’s voice.
However, as he began to reach one of the song’s first high notes, all four judges immediately pressed
their buttons, spinning their chairs around to show their interest in the man with the fantastic voice.
That has to be one of the quickest times in show history for all four judges to swivel their seats for a candidate.
His voice and tone were so lovely and unique that all of the judges had to shift their chairs to accommodate the young man.
As they made their pitches to Huntley after his performance, everyone of the judges showered him with accolades.

Reba McEntire compared his voice and tone to those of Chris Stapleton. According to John Legend, Huntley has ‘truly one of the best voices we’ve heard.’
In the end, Huntley had no say in who would be his coach. The 33-year-old artist took his daughter
on stage, and she made the decision. Of course, she chose former One Direction member Niall Horan.
