Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child has worked with local churches in over 100 countries for the past

25 years to provide gifts to underprivileged boys and girls while sharing the news of God’s greatest gift, Jesus Christ.

It’s become customary for many churches and people to retain their shoeboxes and stock them with essential comfort and hygiene products. For these boys and girls,

the shoebox is a treasured gift they eagerly await, even though the goods might not appear like a delight to others.

It’s always good to think about the child’s reaction when we prepare a shoebox. We don’t have to question anymore,

thanks to this film, which features several lads seated in rows and looking forward to opening their kind presents.

They eagerly open the box to discover what prizes are within when the signal is given. Our attention was drawn to two boys who were giggling over a toy animal and a soccer ball.

Their endearing responses were captured on tape, and they are enough to melt anyone’s heart. This little

film serves as a poignant reminder of the things we may take for granted and the necessities for survival for others.
