Kevin Bacon is being ratioed on search engines after a runaway pig bearing his name was apprehended using an ingenious ploy.
Instead of lamenting his loss of celebrity, Kevin Bacon (the person) used social media to alert Pennsylvanians about the missing hog and his owner Chelsea Rumbaugh’s attempts to capture him.
Chelsea, who lives in Cumberland Township, brought home the pig on October 13th. Kevin Bacon fled after tunneling under

the fence of his holding enclosure following two brief breakouts. Thus began a two-week ramble around the countryside.
Chelsea created the ‘Bring Kevin Bacon Home’ Facebook page, which kept a running stream of locations and news about the pig to help organize rescue attempts.
She requested neighbors and friends to share the page, which placed it in the feed of one Mr. Kevin Bacon.
The famous actor then shared the Facebook page on his Threads feed, captioning it ‘Bring Kevin Bacon Home!’.
During his footloose voyage, pig Kevin had grown accustomed to eating food from humans, which eventually
led to his demise in the form of a sticky bun laced with harmless Benadryl, which is a sedative for animals.
Chelsea had reinforced his pen with concrete to prevent him from digging, but her roaming pig still came home and even ventured inside.

After Kevin Bacon’s story went viral, she saw that she could use her notoriety to further her dream of converting her farm into a facility for emotional support.
Rumbaugh stated, ‘We intend to use our property as an accessible farm and provide services for kids and
adults who battle PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Kevin will be here for all of that, too,’ according to Unilad.
Since then, the Facebook page has been transformed into Kevin’s Home Adventures, where all of Kevin’s daily content is hosted.
