Jared Leto became the first person to climb the Empire State Building

American actor and musician Jared Leto climbed the Empire State Building in honor of the start of the 30 Seconds To Mars world tour. He published the corresponding video on Instagram.

It is noted that the artist became the first person in history to legally climb a skyscraper. The 51-year-old actor overcame a height of about 400 meters and spent about 20 minutes on the front.

During this time, he managed to overcome the space between the 86th and 104th floors. Then he continued his ascent,

overcoming three more steps and getting very close to the ‘ice sheet’, the base of the famous antenna.

Jared Leto admitted that it was much more difficult than he expected, and added that he injured

his hand due to sharp protrusions. Climbing on the building, the artist watched the sun rise over the city.
