In the opening scene of a YouTube video, two people collaborate to give rescue dog Lenny a much-needed haircut. As the women repeatedly say in the video, Lenny was in terrible shape.

The animal needed many minutes to become used to the women who were attempting to assist him.

Lenny not only smelled bad, but his hair was in a horrible condition. One of the women remarked, ‘He smells like every bad smell I’ve ever smelled combined.’

But Lenny’s attitude had completely changed by the time the many hours-long haircut was over. He was obviously appreciative of their attention toward him.

One of the women in the video claimed, ‘He was turning around and kissing Lauren the very last part of shaving.’ ‘He had changed entirely as a dog.’

Lenny was cleaned up, and the California animal rescue uploaded a picture of the puppy to Instagram.

After seeing the picture, Christina, a foster mother, went over and picked up the neatly groomed kitten.

She acknowledges that even though she fell in love with Lenny right away, he ‘looked like a plucked chicken.’

Whatever Lenny’s former circumstances had been, he warmed up to Christina, her husband, and her son right away. Lenny definitely had a lot he wanted to share, and he wanted someone to show it to him.

Christina remarked, ‘It was really love at first sight for everyone.’
