The legendary tennis player Roger Federer reportedly broke down in tears while performing live with blind Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.
From 1998 until 2022, Roger Federer participated on the men’s tennis circuit. He won an incredible 20 Grand Slam events,
six year-end trophies, and 28 ATP Masters 1000 titles while he was on the tour. For 310 weeks, the Swiss pro also maintained the top spot in the ATP rankings—the second-longest streak among men.

Following his retirement in September 2022, Federer appears to have been living a laid-back lifestyle off the court.
He performed live with British rock group Coldplay in Zurich in July 2023. The pianist and singer Elton John was also met by the Swiss.
The 42-year-old most recently shared the stage at Zurich’s Hallenstadion with blind tenor Andrea Bocelli.
He was called to the stage and stood next to Bocelli while the latter sang “’ Dorma.’ In front of the sizable audience,
Federer sobbed during Bocelli’s final song of the evening. Afterwards, he gave the Italian a hug and went with him off the stage. The touching moment may be seen below:

Roger Federer said that he was inspired to take a risk and walk on stage with Coldplay by one of his daughters after seeing the band perform live in July of this year.
‘I received the invitation from Coldplay’s Chris Martin. ‘Don’t you want to come up on stage tomorrow?’ he said.
I was in Zurich at the time, and I had just returned from an Elton John show. You know, the things you do when you’re bored’
‘I asked my daughter, ‘Do you think I should be going on stage to do this?’’ after glancing at her.
‘Of course, papa, you only live once,’ she said to me while still half sleeping, the Swiss added.
