Even if nobody notices them, the little acts of kindness we perform every day have a greater impact on the world than most of us think.
Elmer Alvarez is a model of selflessness since he gives to others without asking anything in return, and as a result, he has been extraordinarily well-rewarded by life.

Although homelessness is a global issue that impacts many nations, in-depth studies of this subject are uncommon.
For instance, surveys done in 2001 and 2012 by France’s National Institute of Statistics and Economic Data (INSEE)
showed a 50% rise in the number of homeless individuals in the nation in 2012—141,500 of whom were men.
Homelessness is a problem in the United States as well; according to a 2018 study from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, 553,000 people are homeless nationwide.
Given these numbers, it becomes imperative to show compassion and support to people in need. This idea is embodied by Dr. Roberta Hoskie as she helps Elmer Alvarez undergo change.

Elmer Alvarez, who was homeless at the time, found a missing $10,000 check that was meant for realtor Roberta Hoskie
just before Thanksgiving. Alvarez gave her back the cheque in an act that dispelled a lot of myths about the homeless.
Hoskie was moved by his candor and felt driven to return the favor after thinking back to her own experience as a homeless person.
In exchange, Hoskie helped Alvarez find housing and paid his rent for a period of seven months, or until he was able to secure a steady job again.
They now work together on a real estate project after she went a step further and paid for his studies
at a real estate school. Although the endeavor is not monetarily successful, it holds great potential for returns.
‘More people should be like Elmer Alvarez; he’s a fantastic guy with a golden heart,’ asserts Hoskie.

In the future, they both want to build a transitional home that provides critical assistance to young adults and teenagers experiencing homelessness.
Alvarez highlights that he understands what it’s like to be homeless and that he doesn’t want anyone to go through what he has,
drawing on personal experience. Hoskie, who was previously homeless herself, concurs heartily and remembers the difficulties of living in a shelter.
Prior to founding her multimillion-dollar business, Hoskie was a destitute teenage mother who overcome her circumstances.
She is now giving Alvarez the same chance, enabling him to follow his aspirations. Alvarez is expected to take on the role of advisor at the transitional home as their partnership develops.
Already, the Outreach Foundation has acquired a two-family house with the intention of helping fifteen people.

Hoskie remembers crying in her car on the way to her six-figure job after meeting Alvarez and pleading for pardon because, despite her accomplishments, she felt unhappy.
Calling her encounter with Alvarez a ‘transformative event,’ she now resolved to write a book in order to assist more individuals. She shared her tale honestly because she wanted to
inspire others to thrive by overcoming obstacles. She made the decision to be transparent despite the hurt of going back in time and maybe offending relatives.
Hoskie sees a bigger process of assisting individuals in becoming the best versions of themselves that goes beyond the book.
In addition, she offers a course called the Millionaire Mindset Sisterhood Program that focuses on profit-sharing, real estate investing, group economics, and breaking the cycle of poverty.
Ultimately, the story by Elmer Alvarez and Dr. Roberta Hoskie not only speaks to people who have experienced hardship,
but it also offers guidance to anybody who wants to overcome the limitations of their past, realize their full potential, and design a life that fulfills them.
Her book’s account of the journey from poverty to affluence is proof of the tenacity of hope, fortitude, and the unshakeable conviction that nothing is truly impossible.
