Bing Crosby’s rendition of the song ‘White Christmas,’ which was released in 1942, was chosen the second most popular song of the 20th century by the General Public.
Judy Garland’s rendition of ‘Over the Rainbow’ was the only Christmas tune that could top this lovely musical number.

Andrea Bocelli, a world-renowned tenor, Italian opera singer, songwriter, and record producer, included the song in his debut holiday album,
which was titled ‘My Christmas,’ in 2009. This was 67 years after the original Crosby song was released, and it continued to resound with Christmas cheer in the 21st century.
The distinctive voice of Andrea Bocelli, which Celine Dion referred to as ‘if God would have a singing voice, he must sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli,’
is what sets the Bocelli cover apart from other renditions of the song. Which, in regard to the Christmas songs that are included on the album, is pretty appropriate.

In 2009, the album was made available to the public, and on November 3 of that same year, the single version of the song ‘White Christmas’ was also made available.
Throughout the year 2009, Bocelli gave live renditions of the song on a number of different television shows and live events.
In the final two months of 2009, the album was sold in the United States alone, a total of 2.2 million copies.
Additionally, worldwide sales of the record exceeded 5 million copies. The album was released around the time that Christmas was approaching. Because of
the significant differences between the two, it would be unwise to compare the version performed by Bing Crosby to the one performed by Bocelli.
Bocelli’s works cannot be compared to the accomplishments of any other singer because he is already a legend in his own time.

He holds the Guinness Book of World Records with the release of his classical album titled ‘Sacred Arias,’
which simultaneously held the top three positions on the charts of the United States Classical Albums.
At this point, all that is left to do is relax and take pleasure in listening to yet another renowned singer’s rendition of this classic song.
