The musician is the father of four children with his wife, Chrissy Teigen.John Legend is preparing for a successful Christmas.

Before the first broadcast of The Voice’s two-part season finale, ET’s Deidre Behar spoke with the show’s coach.

The coach gushed throughout the talk about how he and Chrissy Teigen had welcomed two new family members over the holidays.

Legend stated, ‘It’s our first one as a family of six, so it’s very exciting,’ in an interview with ET.

He continued by stating that his son Wren was born in June and his daughter Esti was born in January.

They have never celebrated Christmas before. We are very happy to have everyone here to celebrate Christmas together, even though they won’t really appreciate it just yet,’

he remarked. We won’t be showing up to work over the holiday season. Right now, I can’t wait for us to just kick back, unwind, and enjoy one other’s company.

Legend and Teigen are parents to two children: Miles, five years old, and Luna, seven years old, in addition to their 11-month-old and 6-month-old daughters, Esti and Wren.

In addition to preparing for Christmas, John Legend is also beginning to plan for his 45th birthday, which falls on December 28. As the new year gets underway, Legend has some goals set for himself.

‘I personally just concentrated on trying to be the best husband and father I can be,’ he said. In terms of my work life,

I am constantly working to set and uphold really high standards for myself as well as a very high bar.

All I want is for every song I write and every album I put out to be the best of what I have ever done.

I want every performance I give to be the best work I have ever done, so I will set a very high bar for myself and put in a lot of effort to meet it.

However, Legend is focusing on The Voice’s finale and Lila Forde, the last remaining vocalist in the competition, for the time being.

He said, ‘I think that with Reba and Niall having two artists that might split up their votes a little bit,

so I like the idea of only having one artist from Team Legend in the finale. There is just one artist available for you to select if you would want to vote for Team Legend. Let’s give Lila a vote.

Legend is confident that Forde’s career is only getting started, regardless of whether she wins or loses.

It doesn’t really matter if she wins or loses, in my opinion. Legend said,’I think that what she has done on the program so far has already set her career up magnificently,

and I think that this is true in so many different ways.’ She has truly made a name for herself as a fantastic artist, and people are curious to hear what her record sounds like.

She has truly established herself. People are quite interested in learning what kind of songs she writes.

Even if it would be nice to win, nothing would change from what has already happened up to this point, regardless of whether she brings the trophy home.

The politician said, ‘We want to win, so vote for her! But either way, she’s done so much to establish herself out in the world.’

She has captured the hearts of millions of people who have heard her sing. She has given a performance for them.

Furthermore, we are aware that she has accomplished a great deal in her professional life and

has put herself in a highly advantageous position to succeed in the years to come, regardless of the outcome of tomorrow’s vote.

Regarding Legend’s role with the show going forward, he is willing to stay on after his anticipated comeback for the 25th season.

I’m excited to be involved with it. I really hope that they will keep asking me to come back,” he said.

One of the reasons I enjoy participating in this activity is the interaction I get to have with these artists.

I get a lot of inspiration from working with them. I have learned a few things in the process of trying to mentor, coach,

and teach them. My own experiences have taught me a lot. It has, in my opinion, improved me as an artist.

Legend said, ‘Making music with these incredibly talented people who have a dream and want to be in the

place where I am in my career just brings me joy.’ I find it to be inspirational. I am so happy that I went through this process, and I can’t wait to do it again in season 25.
