Reading Between the Lines is a project by Belgian architects Peter Juss and Arnott Van Waerenberg. Since 2007, they have been jointly implementing projects in public
space that start from an architectural background but have an artistic purpose.Their projects are not aimed at the ordinary consumer.
They often experiment with techniques and styles to ultimately create something different, special, amazing.

In the coming years, talented architects plan to build several works of art similar to the concept.
On September 24, Geis Van Waerenberg will inaugurate construction in the rural landscape along a bicycle route based on the design of a local church.
This ‘church’ is made up of 30 tons of steel and 2000 columns and is built on a concrete foundation, thanks to its special concept this building can be called an ingenious work of art.

Depending on the viewing angle, you can see the church partially or as it dissolves into the local landscape.
It can be said that this is an illusion of deception, a kind of abstraction. Based on this unusual effect, the church and the landscape can be considered part of the work.
This is where the name comes from, which explains that to read between the lines, you have to read the lines as well.
In other words, the church makes visible the subjective side of the landscape and vice versa.
See in our video how this church looks from all sides and angles.
This incredible building fascinates and surprises with its original concept.
