For some people these days, dating might be difficult. In the busy, modern world of today, many people have difficulty making connections,
particularly in larger cities. Working more hours also makes it harder to meet new people, some of whom you might end up falling in love with.
Some people may believe that falling in love is practically a fantasy, which inspires them to take unique and risky approaches to dating.
This is precisely what driven single Karolina Geits considered, so one day she made the decision to set out on an unusual quest to find love.
Carrying a banner that read ‘Looking for a husband,’ she bravely strolled around the streets of New York City in the hopes of meeting her ideal match.
In a September 2023 interview with the New York Post, Geits disclosed that she had been unmarried for two years before taking such a daring step.
In addition, she recorded the event and posted it on social media, making it visible to millions of users.
Geits strolled around Manhattan holding her cardboard sign in the little video she posted to her TikTok account, and she received a lot of responses from onlookers.
The model clarified that she tried out dating apps and encountered uncommittal males there, but she still believed that creating the sign would facilitate an in-person meeting.
She also used holding up the cardboard sign as a means of manifesting her life goals.
‘I think the universe will see if I make an actual sign for anything I want, like a husband, a Birkin, or a Chanel bag, and send me exactly what I want,’ she stated.
Geits didn’t simply do it once; other films exist of her doing the same thing while dressed differently.

The woman told the publication that she had already swapped phone numbers with one of the men in her earlier films, proving that her hard work had paid off.
She clarified that she had to walk about for thirty minutes until someone acquired her number; nevertheless, she withheld his name in order to keep him anonymous.
We’re only beginning to know one another. Although it’s still early, we’ll see where things end up,’ she said.
Geits went on to say that while she’s happy to have connected with someone through her experiment, she’s more pleased of her willingness to take risks in life.
‘While meeting someone was nice, I’m more proud of myself for pushing past my comfort zone. She declared, ‘I want a family, I’m ready for love, and I don’t have time to waste.’
Geits got a ton of love and praise from other people in the comments area of one of the videos; in fact, she may have even inspired a few of them.

One wrote, ‘Girl, let me go grab some poster board and markers and start strutting through LA.’
Another person commented, ‘Well, that’s one way to do it, go girl, good luck.’ One person said, “Interesting experience, I wish I became brave enough to do that.’
Since it’s Monday, I suppose I have to embrace this idea and begin on my own tomorrow. I’m going to switch offices ,’ one additional person said.
One person expressed their opinions and said that what Geits accomplished was superior to interacting with people online.
