Many aspire to be singers who perform nightly for thousands of devoted followers. Just take a look at

the sheer number of people who audition for programs like The Voice, America’s Got Talent, and American Idol.

Everyone aspires to think they have what it takes to be successful in an industry as cutthroat as entertainment.

Sadly, though, that isn’t at all the case. Despite the fact that a large number of individuals may and do try out for those shows,

it is the judges’ responsibility to gently disappoint them and tell them thank you but no thanks.

Kelly Clarkson possesses the necessary skills and was among those who applied for such programs. The first American Idol is her.

She rose to fame thanks to her amazing voice and won the first season of the popular singing competition show. Most vocalists cannot hit notes like her range and talent.

In a video that was uploaded to YouTube, Kelly sang an incredible rendition of “Over the Rainbow.’

It’s a jazzy, abridged rendition. As it should be, Kelly’s vocal performance is the only thing on display.

Kelly’s voice allows her to flawlessly perform well-known songs that many would never consider covering.

Kelly is probably capable of singing or covering almost anything and making it sound just as good, if not better than the original.

Her rendition of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ is excellent and worth listening to several times because it hits all the right notes.
