She was a gifted and talented actress with an unusual appearance. Today, Blunt is one of the most sought-after actresses, Emily is the owner of ‘Golden Globe’ and she was nominated for ‘Oscar’.

Blunt did not go to the auditions for the first time, but that’s the first time she encountered such a problem.

In one of the interviews she talked about the problems that she faced while working with the famous director.

‘He was very cruel in the audition. The atmosphere was very heavy. I remember being devastated when it was over. I remember that experience very well.

It was terrifying, you feel like a loser in that moment. I have to say that the director was vile and he was terrible. And you are not always strong enough, that kind of attitude hurts your feelings.

So sometimes actors feel like they are in the trenches. Usually I am prepared for that kind of thing.

As an actor, you have to be prepared to take a hit. But that situation was like rock bottom for me.

I remember by the time I walked out of the room, I was literally a shell of my former self. Of course, we are not always unflappable.

Sometimes in this job it can hurt and it can be beautiful as well as painful, and I was prepared for that,’ the actress shared.
