Love hundreds of meters above the ground. the ‘crazy’ story of a couple who climb roofs and meet ‘in the clouds’

In 2016, two young Russians known for their extreme rooftop adventures, where they attempt to illegally scale dizzying landmarks like the Sagrada Familia and the Eiffel Tower, climbed China’s tallest and unfinished Goldin Finance 117 skyscraper, which is more than 596 is a meter.

At that time, Ivan Berkus and Angela Nikolaou did not yet know that they would be together. Berkus invited Nikolaou to join him for the promotion and sponsored posts on social media.

However, it was the beginning of a long romantic and creative partnership that would take them thousands of miles and meters of air travel, reports CNN.

Eight years later, Skywalkers: The documentary “Love Story” took a closer look at their unusual romance through hundreds of hours of footage.

That footage, of course, included terrifying scenes from incredible heights and random encounters with the law.

Like all couples, Berkus and Nikolaou have their ups and downs. In one scene, Berkus boldly accuses his girlfriend of being “too negative.” Thanks to the couple’s unusual lifestyle, “Skywalker” has become a motivation for trust and devotion, even if their antics make you sweat.

The feature film by director Jeff Zimbalist and Maria Bukhonina debuted in January at the Sundance Film Festival and is now streaming on Netflix.
