Who do you think Princess Charlotte looks like and has a special bond with? Tap below to find it out…

This is a very nice picture. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their second child, a girl, on June 4, 2021, at 11:40 a.m., according to a statement released by the pair. During the ‘Oprah with Meghan and Harry’ interview special on March 7, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex revealed the gender of their second child, who was due in 2021 on Valentine’s Day.

Because of the tragic events that have occurred in the royal family over the last several years, which have been full with turmoil and sadness, the couple’s momentous announcement on Sunday, June 6, 2021, was the first piece of positive news the royal family had received in a long time. Prince Philip, who would have been the child’s great grandpa, died on April 9 at the age of 99, making him the child’s great grandfather. During that time, Meghan was unable to attend Philip’s funeral on April 17 because physicians recommended her against going to the United Kingdom while pregnant.

Meghan and Harry’s baby girl will become a princess if Prince Charles becomes king due to the fact that the monarch’s offspring are automatically accorded prince and princess rank, Elle reports. Meghan and Harry’s 2-year-old son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor would also be a prince if this were to happen. Harry and Meghan’s newborn daughter is now seventh in line to the throne, while Archie stays in eighth place.

Furthermore, it has been discovered that Harry and Meghan’s newborn daughter, Lilibet, has a lot in common with her cousin Princess Charlotte, who is fourth in line to the throne of England. Continue reading to find out what characteristics they have in common.

It was with great delight that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcomed their daughter, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world in a statement issued upon her delivery.

The announcement went on to say, ‘At 11:40 a.m. on Friday, June 4, Lili was born at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California, under the watchful eyes of the physicians and nursing staff. She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz when she was born. Both mother and kid are in good health and are adjusting to their new surroundings.’

As all royal fans are aware, the newborn girl’s name has special symbolism, which was also acknowledged in the announcement. ‘Lilibet, the family nickname for Her Majesty The Queen, is the inspiration for Lili’s name. Diana, the Princess of Wales, was the inspiration for her choice of middle name.’

Charlotte and Lilibet have a special bond since they both have the middle name Diana, which is a homage to Princess Diana, who passed away in 2011. In a similar vein, Charlotte’s first middle name is Elizabeth, which, like Lililbet’s name, is a nod to the monarch of the United Kingdom.

Princess Anne (Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise) and her daughter (Zara Anne Elizabeth Tindall) are just a few of the royals who have shared the middle name Elizabeth, as does Anne’s granddaughter (Emily Elizabeth Tindall) (Lena Elizabeth).

It will be an exciting moment when Lilibet is old enough to meet her many royal relatives who share such similar names. And only time will tell whether Lilibet will keep her distance from the royal family, as her parents have, or whether she will make amends with her relatives in England.

Meghan commented of Lilibet’s impending arrival, ‘My husband and I are overjoyed to be welcome a daughter into our family.’ ‘It’s a thrill we share with millions of families throughout the globe. To us, she symbolizes all of those families worldwide that need to be able and supported to lead us forward. It is up to us to put them up for a prosperous, egalitarian, and caring future so that they may set us all up for success in the future.’

Prior to the birth of their second child, Meghan had been quite secretive, remaining out of the public spotlight and refusing to divulge the due date of her daughter. As for a baby shower, the duchess has opted out. In light of the current coronavirus epidemic, Meghan didn’t think it was proper to have such an event, according to US Weekly.

Lilibet’s birth this summer is sure to excite those who follow the Sussexes, since a new member of the royal family is always a big deal. Considering Meghan and Harry’s previous statements, the news that they are expecting their second child is all the more astounding.

In the end, having a son and daughter is the best of all possible worlds. In March, Harry informed Oprah Winfrey about the situation. That’s a good thing, however. The four of us and our two dogs make up our family. Done.’

‘It’s done – how many are there?’ Oprah inquired.

Meghan said, ‘Two is it.’
