Action actor Keanu Reeves has never said much about his personal experiences, despite being coupled with a number of women.
But since the Hollywood A-lister recently created a lot of noise by claiming to be ready to pop the question to his lady love, Alexandra Grant, his love life appears to have taken a new turn.
1. Jill Schoelen — 1986
The singer and the former American actress Jill Schoelen first connected in 1986 while they were both starring in Babes in Toyland.
They dated for nearly three years before calling it quits. The actress went on to another rising star, Brad Pitt, just after their breakup, and the two were engaged for three months.
Second, Sofia Coppola (1991)
While collaborating on Bram Stoker’s Dracula alongside her father, Francis Ford Coppola, Reeves and the
then-developing director got to know one another. They supposedly dated for a short while before breaking up in 1992.
3. Amanda de Cadenet — 1997
Reeves and British actress and producer Amanda de Cadenet were allegedly related, but their relationship ended quickly.
The actress disclosed that when she was still a teenager and expecting Duran Duran bassist John Taylor’s child, she initially entertained the idea of having an affair with Reeves.
The actor declined to engage with her at the time, though. The two eventually started dating after her 1997 divorce from Taylor.
4. In 1998, Jennifer Syme
After dating for a short while in 1998, Reeves and American actress Jennifer Syme announced they were expecting their first child.
Tragically, in January 2000, their 8-month-old daughter Ava was stillborn. Sadly, the sadness of losing their kid
was too much for their relationship to handle, and a few weeks later they decided to call it quits, though they stayed friendly.
One day after having lunch with Reeves on April 2, 2001, tragedy struck once more when Syme lost control of her automobile and perished in an accident.
5. Chow China (2008)
Reeves briefly dated China in 2008; China is the daughter of renowned chef Michael Chow. The pair visited the Mediterranean
Sea while they were dating, and witnesses saw them approaching. But they called it quits soon after the trip.
6. Alexandra Grant — 2019
The 49-year-old Alexandra Grant and the 57-year-old actor are apparently romantically involved. In 2019, they posed for pictures holding hands at the LACMA Art + Film Gala.
The two had been friends for a long time; they first worked together on Reeves’ book, Ode to Happiness, in 2011.
In 2016, they collaborated once more on his book Shadows, which Grant also illustrated. In 2017, they also co-founded X Artists’ Books, a publishing firm.
The two have been in relationships previously, but this is by far the easiest, a source revealed exclusively lately.
