As a recording of impromptu karaoke in a discount store went viral online, Mom became a singing sensation. Video

When Christina Kokonis-Viggers decided to test out the store’s karaoke machine back in 2017, what had initially started as a routine trip to Sam’s Club in Ulster,

New York, turned into a memory to cherish. She and her friend Amanda Lasher were browsing the warehouse store when they came across the sing-along gadget.

Kokonis-Viggers felt the impulse to start singing right away, and when she did, everyone was caught off guard.

Millions of people saw her performance and were astounded by her extraordinary talent. Everyone who enjoys witnessing extraordinary ability in regular people should watch this video.

Lasher chose to use her phone to record Kononis-Viggers’ singing rather than be embarrassed by what was happening.

She made the right decision since it was a fantastic performance! We can all picture how some of us would be feeling in either of their situations.

As Sam’s Club isn’t exactly a place where you’d expect to find someone singing their heart out, many of us would feel embarrassed.

Kokonis-Viggers, however, simply went for it. According to Kokonis-Viggers, ‘We got it to the Christmas aisle and there was the karaoke machine.’

For both women, Friday night was going to be busy. As she picked up the microphone and started singing,

‘Maybe this time, for the first time,’ Kokonis-Viggers remarked in the video, ‘The people want to hear it, people want to hear it.’

The popular 1966 musical ‘Cabaret’ by John Kander featured the song ‘Maybe This Time,’ which Kononis-Viggers started singing while the machine was linked to her phone.

With her first few notes, she captured the attention of the other shoppers, who stood and watched in awe as she performed.

According to Kononis-Viggers of ABC 7 New York, ‘there were individuals stopping by and they simply stood there the whole time.’ She sounded fantastic as she put all of her raw talent into the song.

When questioned by reporters from ABC 7 New York, Lasher stated that everyone was astounded by Kokonis-Viggers’ performance.

And we shouldn’t be shocked because Kononis-Viggers showed a high degree of excitement to her Sam’s Club performance in addition to having a terrific singing voice with an amazing range.

She is the antithesis of shy in this regard. Instead, she sang happily almost the entire time, unfazed by the fact that she was in public and surrounded by people.

Kononis-Viggers’ bravery is an example for all of us, especially those of us who experience stage fear. ‘She received some really enthusiastic applause after. It was incredible, ‘Lasher remarked.

The performance was so outstanding, according to ABC 7, that talent scouts, including recruiters for ‘America’s Got Talent,’ called Kononis-Viggers.

She hasn’t yet appeared on the show as far as we know, but you never know; maybe they’ll have her on for a season in a few years.

All we can do is wait and see. However, Kononis-Viggers reportedly stated in a 2017 article for ABC 7 that

she is devoted to staying local and working with the non-profit theater company Upstate Productions.

Everyone was surprised that a stranger in a wholesale business could have such a lovely voice.

This story, however, merely goes to demonstrate that life is full of delightful and heartwarming surprises, as are most of the stories shared here at apost.

You never know what surprises the day will hold, whether it’s a chance flash mob or a woman singing karaoke as you purchase a bulk quantity of roasted peanuts at Sam’s Club.

Following her visit to the shop, Lasher posted the Kokonis-Viggers singing video to her Facebook page.

It was clear to her that it would become viral. Kononis-Viggers, however, did not have Lasher’s confidence in the likelihood of this occurring.

’I’m going to post it on Facebook, she declared. This situation will explode. I said ‘no,’ ‘said Kononis-Viggers.

Yet Lasher was correct; the video immediately began to collect views a few hours after she had released it.

It received 8 million views in just a few hours, and as of right now, that number has risen to almost 14 million.

They beg to hear what Kononis-Viggers is going to sing next because they appreciate listening to her voice.

Fortunately, Kononis-Viggers has now created the Facebook page Diva In The Making and YouTube channel, where she updates fans and uploads singing videos.

A cover of ‘You’re The One That I Want’ from ‘Grease,’ ‘Come Little Children” from Disney’s ‘Hocus Pocus,’

and the well-known 1965 classic ‘What the World Needs Now’ are just a few examples of recent videos.

On her Facebook, Kokonis-Viggers has published significant life developments in addition to showcasing her talent.
